Phillies Charities awards Andrew Farrell Spirit of Courage Fund with special gift just in time for the holidays

The newly crowned world champs of baseball honored the Andrew Farrell Spirit of Courage Fund as part of their 2008 Holiday Giving Party, which awarded over $275,000 to multiple area charities and non-profit organizations, including a $5,000 grant to the Fund.

Co-President Craig Mullen accepted the check on behalf of the Spirit of Courage Fund at an event held in the Diamond Club at Citizens Bank Park on Dec. 10, 2008.Phillies dignitaries at the event included pitcher Ryan Madson, alumni Garry Maddox and Dickie Noles as well as other members of the Phillies executive staff.
